Much like the majestic coastal bird it’s named for, Blue Heron Cottage & Carriage House is classic, elegant, and quintessentially Floridian. Filled to the brim with luxurious finishes— like hardwood floors, marble countertops, and Viking appliances— this serene 4-bedroom/4.5-bath retreat is located on an idyllic sun-kissed corner of Rosemary Beach. You’ll be steps away from the gorgeous Sky Pool and a short bike ride to the sandy beach.

Enter through the front door and into the open-concept, professionally decorated living space. Neutral sand tones and crisp whites are accented with pops of soothing navy blue. Painted wood beams highlight the high ceilings overhead. The glossy blue accents continue into the kitchen, where custom cabinets and stainless steel appliances create the perfect spot to brew the morning coffee or flip a stack of banana pancakes in the morning.

Upstairs are three private bedroom suites, each with its own bathroom. The primary suite features a sumptuous king-size bed and a spa-like bathroom with a walk-in closet and a freestanding garden tub. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and a private bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The third bedroom includes a twin-over-twin-size bunk bed and a queen sized bed. There’s also a washer and dryer on this floor.

Just across the private courtyard lies the Blue Heron Carriage House. Although a part of the Blue Heron property, the carriage house offers a wonderful separation and feeling of space for large groups. The carriage house includes a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a full bathroom, a living area with a sleeper sofa, and a full kitchen. Charming white shiplap and nautical accent pieces add a lovely, beachy charm to this elegant space.

Blue Heron Cottage & Carriage House has lots of peaceful, sun-dappled outdoor space, too. Take your mug of coffee out to the wrap-around balcony in the mornings, or relax with a frosty courtyard cocktail in the late afternoon while burgers grill on the Green Egg. When you’re ready to explore Rosemary Beach, slip on your flip-flops and take a stroll— there are lots of options for dining and shopping right around the corner. Plus, the heated Sky Pool is across the street. And when you want to hit the beach, it’s a short bike ride across 30A to the sand.

This house felt just like home, well even better! The house is conveniently located within the Rosemary community, just across from Sky pool (our favorite!), the workout facility and a short path to gate C and the beach! The kids could also hop on the bikes to get donuts in the morning and give the adults a little more quiet coffee time outside by the water feature. We also really appreciated how well stocked and organized the house was with EVERY dish, serving platter and wine glass we needed for our big family dinners. 30A Luxury Vacations was also incredibly responsive and prompt to answer questions, requests and keep us informed about the house and community. We absolutely LOVED our stay with 30A LV at Blue Heron!

Blue Heron was the perfect house for our end of the summer vacation! The main house is extremely spacious & it’s wonderful that the carriage house is also included in the rental. The entire property was very clean & had everything we needed for the week. The walk to & from the beach was super easy as the house is conveniently located to several of the Rosemary Beach accesses. We would definitely stay at this property again!

The decorated and functional house that we have ever stayed at. The location was perfect to get to the beach and stop at the pool on the short walk back. The location was also perfect to visit the merchants in downtown Rosemary. The house was well maintained and has many amenities like cooler, chairs, kids toys, umbrella and very usable courtyard that we all gathered at for morning coffee and evening happy hour. If it is available when we book again, we will definitely book the house again. The staff was also very good in their communication.

The Blue Heron was perfect for my extended family (8 total). There was plenty of space, and the large deck and courtyard were perfect. We loved the proximity to the sky pool and easy walk to the beach and town center. Would love to stay again.

Everything was great. We had a great time. The only thing I would mention is that both clothing dryers on the property are missing lint traps. So besides being a fire hazard, the clothes did not dry well. We also limited our laundry due to this.

We had a great weeklong trip to Rosemary Beach staying at the Blue Heron. The main house including the guest house comfortably fit 2 families with 4 kids under 4 years old. House was clean, bathrooms were very nice and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the fenced in courtyard that felt safe having a bunch of little kids around. Close proximity to the beach, multiple neighborhood pools, splashpad and the main retail/restaurant area. Would highly recommend.

Overall a fun positive stay . I didn’t think the house lived up to the price . I have stayed in much nicer homes there for less money . Bedrooms were small . Found many inconveniences during our stay . Lights did not work upstairs or on the stairs or on porches . Waterfall not working . No substantial outside lighting . A motion light that went off before you could reach your destination . Master bath floor was sandy. Lamps seemed to be in disrepair . Limited space in kitchen to store groceries .

We had a great stay at the Blue Heron house in Rosemary. Everything was as described and the app was very helpful with any questions we had during the stay. The location is fantastic with easy access to the pools, beach, town center, and tennis.
We really enjoyed the kitchen and outdoor grilling options provided. The space was perfect for our family of 5 (3 kids under 8) and the carriage house was great for the grandparents. I would say be prepared to bring all oils and seasonings (yes even salt and pepper) as there is nothing provided. But overall we would highly recommend the Blue Heron Cottage and would definitely return.

Overall good trip. Felt like we were mislead in regards to what amenities would be available- was told the pools would be open, but they were not and we were not given any refund accordingly. The green egg needs a little attention. We took all of our accessories to cook with- but the grill is not in good shape. The ice maker also needs to be serviced. Overall- very clean, with plenty of towels, etc.

Great home with all amenities and good beds. Well appointed and conducive to home dining and entertainment. We hope to return! Warning though that this home is not ADA compliant, should you have guests with a disability. Exterior stairs are steep without rails. All bedrooms on second levels. It was perfect for us, however.

The Blue Heron Cottage is absolutely lovely! Everything from the gorgeous decor, the plush towels, comfy beds, and the wonderfully well equipped kitchen guaranteed a perfect first visit to Rosemary Beach. The location of the cottage across the street from the fitness center, indoor pool, and tennis courts was perfect for our active family. We loved walking for coffee (Amavida) and donuts (The Daughter's Kitchen) every morning. Having the bicycles that came with the house meant we almost never used our car. We can't wait to return to Rosemary Beach, and we would definitely rent the Blue Heron cottage again!

Blue Heron is a beautiful vacation home in Rosemary. Our family of five enjoyed six nights here the first of September. We only live two hours away from the beach so we tend to not go stay there, but decided this year we would since our son-in-law was in a wedding at Rosemary and it coincided with my and my husband's birthdays. We were supposed to be joined by other family who didn't come, so unfortunately we didn't make use of all the great space available. The only down sides to this rental was the tight garage parking (one narrow space) and perhaps distance to the beach, although that was really not bad at all considering if you don't want to walk (10 minutes) you have parking passes so you can drive closer and park. The owners used one side of the garage but there were two parking passes for us and thankfully plenty of room since it was not a busy time (and also we had two full-size trucks which wouldn't have fit in the garage) There was a great pool right across the street. The bikes were the best! We haven't ridden in years and loved riding and enjoying the beautiful homes and scenery. Also, the house and grounds couldn't be more beautiful. It's a very comfortable home. The flowers and landscaping is gorgeous. We would definitely go back, and my husband and I also thought it would be a really great rental for maybe three couples to share. There's plenty of space and privacy. I would definitely recommend.

4 moms and 7 kids. We took a quick getaway the first day of summer for 4 nights which was before the crazy Memorial Day weekend. This house was perfect for us. The only 2 boys and a mom got to stay in the carriage house and the other 3 moms and 5 girls were in the main house. The pool across the street is so convenient and the distance to the beach was also easy. We were also close to downtown RB so restaurants and shopping were great.

Beautifully decorated and cozy home that's perfect for a few couples or a big family. Tucked about a block behind the Town Center and easy walking distance to everything in Rosemary. My nephew loved having the pool and tennis courts just across from the street (though the pool could be a bit loud at times for us old people). Plenty of room to spread out in the kitchen and living area, and it was great to have privacy for napping in the carriage house. Overall, a great spot!

Incredible home. Great location. Walking to the beach using the boardwalk just 20 ft. away made to-and-from a breeze. Let the kids come & go using the boardwalk as their land-mark made our time at the beach a vacation too. The management team was fantastic. Chris in particular was amazing and any inquiry we had regarding where to dine or secure a last minute bon fire... was just the best!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rosemary Beach. The management staff was superb. Any question was answered promptly and we would certainly use this service again. As mentioned to Holly and Chris earlier my only concern was the condition of the guest was cetainly not terrible but compared to the rest of the facility it came up short. I pplanned for my husband and I to stay there but he could not negotiate the stairs so my daughter and son0in-law stayed there. It was jy=ust disappointing to me that everything else was so lovely and they had to stay in something that was not.

This trip was our family's 3rd stay in Rosemary Beach. The house was located within an easy walk to the beach and restaurants downtown. One afternoon we played Bocci Ball on the nearby huge green space along 30A. The house was well equipped for movie-watching,
meal preparation, and entertaining guests.

We have been coming to Rosemary Beach for the last seven years. Each year we have stayed in a different house, for multiple reasons: too small, not clean, property manager not attentive. This is the first year that everyone in our party agreed that we would stay at this house again. Large kitchen/living area, which is a must. Nice size bedrooms and a washer and dryer in the house and garage. It is a two minute bike ride to the beach, directly across from the sky pool, and has enough parking.
