Eden Gardens State Park in Santa Rosa Beach offers visitors 163 acres of beautifully maintained land filled with walking paths, towering forests, and a fully restored 1897 mansion housing heirlooms and one-of-a-kind antiques from the Wesley family.
Step back in time as you explore the homestead on a guided tour, or relax as you enjoy a family picnic. After lunch, fish off the dock in Tucker Bayou or wander the gardens.
Wesley House, built in 1895, was the family home of William Henry Wesley, the owner of the largest timer company of the 19th century. The estate was purchased in 1963 by Lois Genevieve Maxon, who dreamed up the gardens and park and aided in the complete restoration of the antebellum-style home.
Guided tours of the Wesley House are available hourly, Monday through Thursday, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
